  2. 3.5 stars I wasn t as in love with this one as other books by this author I m still not sure how much is story vs my frustration in the format This should not be read as a standalone There wasn t enough rehashing or imagery of the characters for me to be able to jump back on the Max and Ruby train without a review of Book 1 I m a reader that really needs that to get in to the story I often find that the lowest common denominator is the driving force in relationships Here we have not only 3.5 stars I wasn t as in love with this one as other books by this author I m still not sure how much is story vs my frustration in the format This should not be read as a standalone There wasn t enough rehashing or imagery of the characters for me to be able to jump back on the Max and Ruby train without a review of Book 1 I m a reader that really needs that to get in to the story I often find that the lowest common denominator is the driving force in relationships Here we have not only an extrovert social butterfly mixed with a introvert, but an asperger s introvert Finding balance in any relationship can be difficult, particularly when there are such opposing personality types We see Max feeling insecure Ruby resentful of the social time she i...

  5. Fantastic seriesThe continuing story of Max and Ruby s relationship simply affirms my feelings about the characters and story after the first volume The writing is wonderful, with expertly executed pacing and authentic story elements that tug at the heartstrings The chemistry between the two leading ladies is fantastic, though the communication difficulties brought about by their personality differences and Max s Asperger s provide sufficient conflict to make them seemrealistic than many Fantastic seriesThe continuing story of Max and Ruby s relationship simply affirms my feelings about the characters and story after the first volume The writing is wonderful, with expertly executed pacing and authentic story elements that tug at the heartstrings The chemistry between the two leading ladies is ...

  6. Frustrated with Max s characterI enjoyed the first installment in this series, but I found myself frustrated with Max in the second book It seems as if Ruby is losing her identity Everything is about making Max feel comfortable and that s not how relationships work Ruby was rightfully frustrated at one point, but once again Max s feelings became a priority I wonder if the wedding will even happen I ll continue with the series only to see if Ruby speaks up for herself and voices her needs in Frustrated with Max s characterI enjoyed the first installment in this series, but I found myself frustrated with Max in the second book It seems as if Ruby is losing her identity Everything is about making Max feel comfortable and that s not how relationships work Ruby was rightfully frustrated at one point, but once again Max s feeli...
